Monterey Cutting Day & Horticulture Faire March 15, 2025

Check out this 68th annual free community event, located at Friendly Plaza at Monterey City Hall. Exhibits will include free tree seedlings, plant propagation, gardening information, landscaping with drought resistant plants, Historic Garden League, Monterey Stormwater Education Alliance (SEA), and Monterey Volunteer Gardeners.

Whalefest Monterey April 12 & 13, 2025

Check out this free, family-friendly festival that combines science, arts, and history. It is a 2-day event designed for all ages, featuring exhibits from non-profit organizations related to marine science, sustainability of land and sea, and the environment. In addition, Whalefest Monterey features a Symposium where world renowned scientists from local marine science research institutions share their latest research findings.
