Del Rey Oaks Earth Day - April 25, 2026

The City of Del Rey Oaks will host an Earth Day and Ice Cream Social celebration at Del Rey Oaks Park on Saturday, April 25 from 12-2 pm. Snapshot Day - May 2, 2026

Snapshot Day is the oldest and largest single-day annual water quality monitoring event in California. Each year hundreds of volunteers join the Coastal Watershed Council and Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary staff to take a “snapshot” of the health of rivers and streams flowing into the Sanctuary. Volunteer to help collect water quality data and learn more about your local watersheds. Click here to register for this important event.

MEarth Day - May 9, 2026

MEarth Day is a free community event featuring a variety of activities, delicious food, live music, educational exhibitors, and local vendors, taking place Saturday, May 9th, 10 am - 4 pm, at MEarth’s Hilton Bialek Habitat. The event includes a pollinator area with a live observation bee hive and specimen collection. Adopt-a-Catch Basin

Do you live or work in Monterey? Want to help support healthy waterways? Take action to maintain clean storm drains today! The City of Monterey has built an Adopt-a-Catch Basin program to empower residents to protect Monterey Bay by preventing debris and pollutants from reaching our coastal waters.
